Aberffraw – At Croes Ladys there are some chalybeate springs (Jones, 1954)
Llanfechell – a mineral spring near Cefn Coch ( Llwyd, 1823)
Llangefni – close to the remains of a Roman road about a mile from Llangefni is a valuable spring of water, impregnated with oxide of iron, which is strongly recommended by medicinal men. ( Llwyd, 1823)
Penrhoslligwy – Ffynnon Parc Mawr
Caernarfonshire
Llanddeinioln Ffynnon Gegin Arthur briefly exploited as a spa in the mid nineteenth century and water commercially bottled by Caernarfon based King Arthur’s Natural Spring Company.
Trefriw – became a major spa centre in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The water described as “inconceivably nasty and correspondingly efficaceous” in Baddeley’s 1895 guidebook to North Wales. Mineral waters from Trefriw continue to be bottled and sold.
